Week felt somehow unbounded because guests left on tuesday morning and my weekend was busy. It always takes me couple of days to get used to being alone and managing daily routines alone. I like it though I find lots of positives but first couple of days I'm adjusting. On Wednesday I went for a burger and beer to my favorite Garden Brewery. Days is shorter, and temperatures are lower but I didn't stay long because mosquitos were bothering me a lot. On Friday I went to try out Nova Runda - Top Manager Hazy IPA that was on tap a Tolkien's House. By the way I visited Zagreb central tunnel network and on my way out I've stopped by park Zrinjevac where was some concert.
Center was full of live, even a bit crowded. Completely different to what it was not even a full month ago.
Next day I used the rare opportunity to do cycling trip and headed to Croatian/Slovenian border through Samobor. Roads were severely occupied and people were moving a lot. Samobor was full of cars.
I've managed to get back from my trip in time to take shower and go ahead to wait for Veronika at main station. Next day we traveled to Prague.
Journey was okay, but long. There were few car accidents on a highway and we came about hour late. Hotel was nice though and food delicions. We went to Kolkovna I had Kulajda and Veronika had Zelnacka soups.
Sunday was very hot even in Prague it was about 27 degrees but in the evening weather started to change rapidly. Weather prediction showed just rain and temperatures between 9 to 15 degrees...
Observation
- Croatian flags are visible very often. Contrary to Czechia or Slovakia it is not sign of right wing extremism but an ordinary custom. National identity and relation towards country is defined likely by war 35 years ago.
Future
- have a traveling week off and then plan trip to Slovakia
Training
- 77km on bike
Backlog
- Still would love to get on Sljeme, possibly last time this year.
