Hvar was all nice but main attraction is memory of first time visit in 2014. Now it was moderately full of tourists but far from overcrowded (2 years ago it felt empty). Weather was windy and colder, but sun was still burning. Life on island was is visibly slower and it seemed like for people there it was sort of a brand. I've noticed a tattoo on a lady's bartender hand - Polako meaning - slowly

Island went really expensive and apart from few groups that managed to go cheap (people that visited just for a one day and hordes of cyclists) it was kind a calm. Our apartment was minimalistic and good for sleep but not good enough for a stay. Given that I've been on a rare vacation It was just a pity that it was colder than usual and I got light cold. Fish and wine was top. I lost my appetite though, maybe its result of cold and maybe its just another issue related to my gut.

On Tuesday we traveled back to Makarska and on Thursday I traveled back to Zagreb so I can accommodate my guests. We managed to visit Plitvicska jezera, It was moderately crowded and it was difficult to make a shot with no person.

Next day we visited Nikola Tesla Technical Museum and spent rest of the day walking in the city center.

Observation

  • vacation is never long enough
  • Hvar became very expensive, I'm glad that I'm back in Zagreb
  • Temperature dropped, there won't be 30 anymore
  • Sunset is at 19:00, I feel like summer is over already, I have difficulty to get on bike

Future

  • Will be visiting Prague and Brno next week, weather won't be welcoming since it is supposed to be raining mostly

Backlog

  • Prague and Brno awaits us
